Ferry trip and lunch gathering - Sunday 15th April

Hot on the heels of a great turn out for our Camberwell lunch, our next event is coming up fast...

We have decided to venture out on the high seas with a return ferry trip to Williamstown, with lunch at 12:30pm at Monzarella Italian Restaurant, 231 Nelson Place Williamstown.

The proprietors of the restaurant are insisting on definite numbers by 4th April as their restaurant is usually booked out.

So it is essential that you RSVP Emma @ 0418 504 822 no later than Easter Sunday 1st April.

For those interested in travelling over to Williamstown by ferry, Melbourne River Cruises run a ferry service each day.

Weather permitting those interested can meet at the Ticket kiosk at Berth 5 Southgate, which can be found across the Yarra River opposite Flinders Street Station.

There is a ferry departing at 10:30am and returning at 3:30pm.  Tickets are to be purchased 20 minutes prior to departure.  Return tickets Adults $32 and Concession $25.

There are special prices for children and families - please google for more info.

For those who would like to celebrate Eucharist at Williamstown, there is Mass @ St Mary’s Parish, 116 Cecil Street at 10:30am

Diary Dates

Saturday 2nd June:  Fr Elio Capra, a Salesian Priest who is in high demand across Australia, will spend Saturday afternoon with us. The topic we have asked him to talk about is ‘Personal Identity and Self-esteem in the light of Spirituality.’

Thursday 7th June:  This day is the eve of the feast of the Sacred Heart and consequently a special celebratory feast for our group ‘Hearts in Action’. Many Religious Congregations set aside this night as an evening of prayer and adoration. We are planning to organise such an evening with 3 priests available to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The Sacrament will be one on one and the Priests will be available as long as required. There will be no hurry. Instead an atmosphere of silence, prayer and reflection before the Blessed Sacrament. Jesus blesses us with his assurance: ‘Come to Me you who are tired and burdened and I will give you rest.’  Location to be advised.
